Re: Error: Template Service could not be loaded while broadcasting

Hello Gurus,

 

I have come across an issue from past couple of weeks while broadcasting the reports from rsrd_admin. The error

message was Erro: Template could not be loaded ! I do not get any more details rather than this error message.

I am unable to figure out the exact reason for this. When I trigger the report multiple times manually.. it is being

broadcasted to the users but when scheduled it is throwing this error messages. This is a bit high priority as users

are having issues at the end of Fiscal year. Please let me know you suggestions on this.

Hierarchy issue in Bex Query

Dear Experts,

 

One GL Account having in 2 sub nodes, For these two sub nodes for that GL account having the GL Vales in Transaction data.

 

We have a GL Account as credit check box in one node and debit
check box in another node in Financial Statement Version Hierarchy. In
this case BIMaster data is showing that GL in Both the nodes but in Bex
Report same GL falling under Not assigned Node. Through this issue the
value is not appearing the Actual Node.

 

BI Hierarchy master data:-

 

EX: GL Account: 130001

 

 

 

Bex output for that above GL:-

 

Please suggest me how i need to get data with respect to GL nodes even contains one GL in 2 sub nodes.

BEx Query Designer supported in Windows 10

Hello. I am trying to determine if BEx Query Designer 7.x is supported on the Windows 10 platform. I did find that you must be on SAP GUI 7.40 SP4 but didn't find anything specifically for the BEx components.

 

If someone is using it on Windows 10 I would like to hear your experiences.

Customer Monthly High balance

Hi,

 

I have data set as attached.  I need to show the Monthly Customer High balance (ex highlighted yellow cells are the high balances for the month).  I tried CKF with exception aggregation using the amount with Maximum option reference char as Fiscal period.  It didn't work.  Any ideas to accomplish at the front end or at the cube level?

BW Hierarchy Issue - Nodes using External Char doesn't restrict the data

We are facing an issue with Hierarchy,  DIV_FUNC_DEPT_HIER (Functional Hierarchy) on custom O ZC_DEPT This is a manually created Hierarchy. There are 2 external characteristics (ZC_DIVISN and ZC_FUNCTN) used in this hierarchy. There are few depts. that are common across few functions and this is causing data issue in the query output. Though the departments are under a particular function node the data in query output doesn’t get filtered for that specific function, rather data of all functions are displayed. This results in same values being repeated under each of the Function of sales and marketing division. Appreciate if the issue can be analysed and let us know the reason for such behaviour of the hierarchy. Please suggest how to fix the issue.

Bex calculate Difference % between two dates for the same key figure

Hello Experts,

 

My sincere apology if this question has been asked quite a few times. I just could't find it anywhere. I have a key figure 'Sales Revenue' which is being displayed separately for the  different fiscal year week. Lets say there are two fiscal year week 42.2016 & 42.2015. Now I want to calculate the diff % which will be like this (sales Rev w.r.t 42.2015  - sales Rev w.r.t 42.2016 ) / ( sales Rev @ 42.2015 )   * 100. However I don't know how to achive this in Bex since the sales Rev w.r.t 42.2015 and sales Rev w.r.t 42.2016 are the same key field.

 

I hope my question is clear. Please let me know if you want me to explain it more.

Query filter dosn't work with input variable

Hi all,

 

I have a query and in a filter i have value ( FV270, FV270) for characteristic (ZINVESTYP).

And i have manual input variable (VAR_INVESTYP_S1) for this characteristic.

When user opened the query and selected value from list, filter in the query is work fine.

But when a user sets the out filter value manually then filter doesn't work

and template opens for input - it's not correct.

Why the filter does't work and template opens for input? How to make the filter worked?

Please help to solve the problem.


P.S. we have BW 7.0

Issue with the Inventory cube query

Hello Gurus,

 

I have an issue regarding the inventory query. The query that was created has been running from

3 years without any issue. But for this month if was throwing an error while running the report in

the Bex. " An error occured whule communicating BW server".

 

I have created a copy of the report and ran it. The copy report works perfectly I haven't made

any changes to the customer exits or queries.

 

I ran the report using RSRT the first report throws an error in the execute+debug mode. For the

error report I see the issues when I checked the program in screenshot 1 and 2.

Error message is below

 

The data object "I_S_VALID" has no component called "SID_0CALMONTH_F", but there is a

component called "SID_0CALDAY_F".   (screenshot 1 and 2)

 

When I look at the program in rsrt for the copy report I see that the program shows the same

line code as "SID_0CALDAY_F". ( Screenshot no 3)

 

I am unable to make out why does the copy report run correctly where as the original report

throws an error. Please let me know your suggestions on this. Thanks in advance

Publishing and Consuming Query Webservice - Query_View_Data

Hi Experts,

 

I have set up "Query_View_Data" taking reference from Weblog

/people/prakash.darji/blog/2006/09/04/work-with-xmla-web-service-for-bi-data-in-external-applications --> Document : Web Services within SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI - Create, Discover, and Consume! --> Page Nos. 26 to 42.

 

I am able to test my Query Webservice from my BW system using transaction WSADMIN & the Request as well as Response are successful.

 

Now I am trying to create a Visual Composer - iView.

In this iView, I am trying to define the webservice (Tools --> Define Webservice).

 

The URL which I enter for the webservice is :

http://<Server>:<Port>/sap/bw/xml/soap/queryview?wsdl

Port I am using same as my VC / EP Port.

 

I am getting an Error Message : Invalid Webservice URL

 

Am I missing anything ?

Please suggest.

Bookmark shows different output for specific user - Variables Values and Filters are different

With reference to this thread Bookmark shows different output for specific user

 

I have a similar issue, where user save one selection for ouput as bookmark, but when he/she tries to open the bookmark, the variable selection screen values are different from the saved one.

 

I checked in personalization tables /BI0/APERS_VAR00 also, there is no personalization had been saved by the specific user .

 

Any inputs

BEX F4 Help

Hi Team,

 

In Bex query the 2017 year data is not displaying  in F4 Help but when executing the report output data is displaying.Please check below screen shot and suggest solution and reason.

Calculated KF using Total from another KF

Hi,

 

can anybody tell me how I can achieve the 'Calc KF 3':

The 'Calc KF 3' is the percentage between 'KF 2' and the Total Result of  'KF 1'.

 

For example:

3,02 % is 230.000 / 7.632.110 in percentage format.

Cannot use 'ALL' as Query Variable value

Hi everyone,

 

We have run into a situation with InfoQueries.

We have created a query variable and used it as Columns in an infoquery. On rows we used some other characteristics, but not the one the variable is for. Like this:

The variable type is Several Single Values and Mandatory.

The problem is that we can't give the variable the value 'ALL':

At first I thought that query variables cannot take the value ALL, but this is not the case since queries defined on other cubes can have variables with the value ALL.

 

What makes this infocube/infoquery/variable combination special?

Local filters in 2 reports are commonly shared

Hi,  I have got a situation where 2 reports having same technical UID for the elements in Query filters section,  I have run the ANALYZE_RSZ_TABLES report to check the consistencies of the tables. It is reporting an error with the shared elements.

 

Then we had to delete one of these 2 queries, immediately the other query stopped working because it needs those shared elements got deleted.

 

So now I need to recreate this issue to see how it got happened, when I tried to do query save as, all the query elements in the filter getting created with new UIDs,  not sure how those 2 queries sharing the common UID in the filter section,

 

do you have any idea of how it can happen? so that I can recreate this issue,

 

Note: Those queries initially created in 7.0, later we migrated to 7.3 now.

Concatenate InfoObjects BEx Analyzer Result – BW 7.0 version

Hi experts, good afternoon …

 

I need to show the long text, for instance, 240 char in the Bex Analyzer, but in BW 7.0 the maximum allowed is 60 char. So, I created the InfoObject with 3 attributes 60 char each.

SAVE ICON for BEx Template Report is not working on SAP Portal

Hi Experts,

 

Clicking on SAVE ICON on Bex Wen Template (see attached Image) a blank popup window appear for a while and goes. Nothing happening.

I want to save my Bex Report Layout for future use as portal favourite. 

This is not Inetrnet Explorer Pop-up setting issue. All is good. QA  DEV also same problem is there.

 

Recently System has upgraded to BW 7.3. Is this cause?

 

Please suggest what to check. or suggest some SAP Note if someone knows.
