BEx Error : System error in program CL_RSR_RRI2_FAGGR

Hi All,

 

Last week we upgraded our system to the latest support pack BW 740 SP0009, after that one of our BEx queries is returning an error which I am not able to understand. All the other queries are running smoothly. The error message says "System error in program CL_RSR_RRI2_FAGGR and  form  _LRECH_BEFORE_XFEMS-02-" 


The query was working perfectly before the upgrade, and it is not changed. But, returning the above mentioned error. Please help us in understanding and resolving this error.

I got a requirement where I need to create a offset[-12] on 0CALMONTH for a formula.[Formula is just a addition of two key figures]

Query is not executed in a browser from Bex Query Designer, ABAP Web, Java Web - Please help me on this

In a Personal Computer, When I am trying to execute a query in Bex Query Designer, the query is not getting executed in a browser. Also I check my query in RSRT, in this the query is executing, But it is not executing in ABAP Web, Java Web or in any browser.

 

I think there is no proper settings in place...

 

1. Also I dont know how to configure the RFC destinations in Source R/3 and in BW system.

 

Also please help in finding the J2EE hostname, BI_SID, Portal_SID,J2EE_S,Hostname, Portal URL prefix, portal content. Because I dont have SAP Basis team support.

 

2. When I went to RSPOR_Setup in SA38, I see pre-populated values which is mentioned below in Bold for respective fields. It would be great if someone of you can guide me in populating the fields with correct entires.

 

General Data

  • Check Configuration option is selected by default.

Checking an Existing Configuration

  • RFC Destination  - <BI_SID>_<J2EE_HOSTNAME>_<J2EE_S
  • Portal SID           - <Portal_SID>

 

Completing a New Configuration

 

     Step 1 - Create RFC Destination in J2EE Engine

 

               Program ID                       <J2EE_HOSTNAME>_PORTAL_<J2EE_SID>

               Portal Directory (optional)   C:\usr\sap\<PORTAL_SID>\JC00\j2ee

               BI User                             *********

               BI Password (optional)       *********

 

     Step 2 - Create RTC Destination for Portal

               User-Defined RFC connection option is selected by default.

               RFC Destination                 <BI_SID>_<J2EE_HOSTNAME>_<J2EE_S

 

               Program ID as RFC Destination

               RFC Destination                 SAP Netweaver Portal on <HOSTNAME>

 

     Step 3 - Maintain Portal Server Settings for Portal

               URL Prefix for Portal                 <PORTAL_URL_PREFIX>

               Prefix of RM for BI Metadata      /bi_metadata

 

     Step 4 - ***Not Found in the System***

 

     Step 5 - Export BI Certificate from BI

               Export Path                        C:\Users\Administrator\Appdata\Local\SAP\SAP GUI\tmp

               Export File Name                EH5_certifcate.crt

 

     Step 6 - ***Not Found in the System***

 

     Step 7 - Create BI System in Portal

               Path in Portal Content           //portal_content/Systems

               Name in Portal Content        T90CLNT090

 

               Template for defining the BI System in Portal

                    System with Application Serv is select by default.

 

               BI Properties

                    BI Directory Provider Checkbox is selected by default.

                    BI Documents for InfoProvider               /bi_documents

                    BI Documents for Master Data              /bi_documents

                    BI Documents for Metadata                  /bi_documents

                    BI Master System Checkbox is selected by default

     Step 8 - Configure User Management in Portal

Question related to formula with cumulative properties

Hi all,

 

I got a requirement where we need to get cumulative values on a key figure.

 

I achieved this by creating a formula on this key figure and enabled "cumulated "checkbox" in calculations tab .

 

But this is working across all dates. But my user now requesting for cumulative based on each month.

 

How to achieve this functionality .Please advice.

Query variable/Offset/0Calmonth ISSUE

Hey Guys,

I have an issue i cannot get my head around it, I have a query that works with 3 previous months with 4 columns per month

 

created

solved

Previously solved (historical)

Solved total to date

 

working with offset -3 ... -2... -1

everything is working ok, but for some reason some months from 2014 are not being loaded.

 

example

If I choose the 08.2014.. I get 8 and 7 and 6 (THATS OK)

 

If I load 9 I get no 8 ... I get 9..7 .. 6

 

same for

10

11

12

01.2015

02.2015

all of those months are taking as offset - 1 the month of july 07.

 

any idea of what im missing?

Error while Transporting Bex query from Dev to Qa

Hi Guys,

 

I have a really simple Bex query that i was trying to transport from the Dev environment to QA. The BEx query throws know errors when i check it, it does not have any restricted or calculated key figures, Like i said it is a simple query with some prompts, dimensions and key figures.

 

But for some reason, everytime i transport it, it transports with an error. Attaching the Screenshot. I am not able to figure out what is causing this error, so any help would be greatly appreciated. It keeps sayign error when activating a certain element, i tried deleting the element and it still doesnt work.

How to configure 2 different portals, one for RRI jump and 2nd for other scenario

Hi,

 

Default portal set in backend table RSPOR_T_PORTAL, is set to Portal 1 which is used for a broadcasting scenrio.

 

When the RRI is configured, it automatically jumps to same Portal 1. But I want the RRI jump tp Portal 2.

 

Please help me to understand, how we can achieve it.

 

I have tried Web adress option in RSBBS, but in my case while clicking Goto->Link on different variables, diff values should be passed.

Timevariable 0CWEEK-1

Hi,

 

I'm using timevariable 0CWEEK-1 in a query (BI7.0). On the selectionscreen of the query appears value 01.0000 instead of 08.2009 for this variable.

 

How can I get the correct value on the selectionscreen?

0latitude and 0longitude on OLAP for Analysis

We have got 0latitude and 0longitude (key figures with 12 decimals points ) to show on OLAP reports.  When I run the report, by default it is showing only five digits after decimal instead of 12.  The values are stored correctly in the P-table. Those are attributes of another info object.

 

However, when I run the query on Olap for analysis (even on RSRT), I can only see five decimal values. If I change the setting on Info Object -> Additional Properties -> decimal places , the max decimal place it has is 9 digits after decimal. How can I have all 12 digits after decimal points show on the report. Any help will be greatly appreciate.

 

It is just a number, no unit attached to it .

0CALMONTH YEAR TO DATE

Hi Experts,

 

I am having troubles in calculating values of my YTD column in my query using a bex variable customer exit.

 

Where in I got a user input of Cal month Year.


Example, if the user selects December as the month the column should be able to display the totals from January to December.


It doesn't give the YTD values, it only shows the value of the month which the user value selected.


Based from my debugging my Code does get the range(my I_T_VAR_RANGE contains it), but still my YTD column does not have the correct values.

Currency Translation throws warning: no valid translation date to specify

Hi All,

 

I am having an issue in one of the report where I am using currency conversion type.

When the report is executed, currency conversion is taking place properly but I am getting a warning message as follows "Period 0000000 - No Valid translation date to specify.

 

Not able to understand the reason for this warning message. Can anyone please help me with this.

For one of the BI system , below issue is coming while opening Bex query.

 

  1. Start BEx-Analyzer (with Transaktion RRMX on BI)
  2. Open the input ready BEx-Query “Z_XXX”
  3. Opening the BEx-Query with Error
  4. Short Dump in Transaction ST22.

Explain CONSTANT SELECTION in SIMPLEST way...

Hi guyz,

 

Can anyone explain the USE of CONSTANT SELECTION? Where and when do we use it? Can anyone cite an example other than the example found in the link below?

 

Please don't explain using the "technical" definition:

Because at first, I thought CONSTANT SELECTION will do a "JOIN" in the query wherein I can use it so as to avoid doing a LOOKUP if I have one (1) object that doesn't belong in one (1) of my providers..

 

 

For example, I have these providers:

 

DSO1:

On top of them is a MULTIPROVIDER..Can I have this report using only CONSTANT SELECTION? I know we can achieve this by adding the RANGE object in DSO2 and doing a LOOKUP to DSO1 based on PAYER and MATERIAL..But I'm just curious if using the CONSTANT SELECTION is valid in this kind of scenario..

 

 

This should be the "CORRECT OUTPUT" of the REPORT if I did a lookup in DSO2 to DSO1:

 

Calmonth

 

Range

 

Amount

 

Value (Formula) =

Amount / Ave Tax

Ave Tax = Tax / Count

201501101 to 30060060(5 + 10 + 15) / (1 + 1 + 1) = 10
201501401 to 60090036(20 + 30) / (1 + 1) = 25

 

 

 

But when using the CONSTANT SELECTION, I "THINK" this will be the OUTPUT:

 

Calmonth

 

Range

 

Amount

 

Value (Formula) =

Amount / Ave Tax

Ave Tax = Tax / Count

(using CONSTANT SELECTION for RANGE)

201501101 to 30060037.5(5 + 10 + 15 + 20 + 30) / (1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1) = 16
201501401 to 60090056.25(5 + 10 + 15 + 20 + 30) / (1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1) = 16

 

 

 

If the 2nd output will be the BEHAVIOR of CONSTANT SELECTION, so this scenario is not the "RIGHT" usage of CONSTANT SELECTION..So LOOKUP will still be the SOLUTION for this kind of scenario..Am I right? Or "CAN WE STILL USE" constant selection for this kind of problem? If so, how will I use it?

i got a serious problem , i want to disable and enable button and hide and show the content in Web Application Designer , i know in normal html its possible to do , below is the code

this is the layout.

 

so the Distribution button should be disable until the Material Group Wise distribution table get Field. i am not aware of this tag bi:

 

 

so is this possible to do or not? if possible how?

 

 

i know normal HTML and Javascript but no idea about this Web Application Designer in SAP BI,.

Uom conversion sap bw 7.4

Hi,

 

 

I am using UOM conversion at Bex level.

I have restricted a KF say ABC with variable conversion which will prompt 2 values on selection screen. So at selection I get to choose 1) CSE or 2 ) LB,

 

Now i have a kf say XYZ which is having UOM conversion as Constant 'LB'.. If I choose  'CSE' for ABC conversion at selection Screen the XYZ shows me value in CSE instead of LB.

 

If I choose 'LB' for ABC conversion at selection Screen the XYZ shows me value in LB.

Why is the "Constant UOM conversion' to XYZ behaving this way?

Hi Experts,

 

While executing the reports with few selection we are getting the below warning message :

 

period 0000000 - No Valid translation date to specify (Z_FRCPE)

period 0000000 - No Valid translation date to specify (ZMOEND )

I want to know why this warning message is comming up.what is the reason for the same.

Kindly advise.

Dear All,

 

0RPA_EDA (Shelf Life Expiry date) is coming as # in Bex report. Is there any way to show this as 00.00.0000?

In cube the value is blank.
