Hi experts,
I'm struggeling a little bit with the available setting for the report-to-report interface.
Especially I'm wondering if the following scenario is realizeable (I'd expect that) and
how the RRI settings need to be chosen for that:
A report shows (for example) sales-figures aggregated on a montly level.
Using the RRI I'd like to jump to a 2nd report which shows me all the sales-documents
which where relevant for a selected month.
Example: Report 1 shows:
Month Quantity
Jan 100 pcs
Feb 120 pcs
Mar 118 pcs
Report 1 contains the characterisitic "sales-document-number" as well.
But I do not want to put that char into the drill-down.
Doing a right-click on the februrary row (and selection the jump-target)
I wanna jump to a 2nd report which is restricted to all the sales-document-numbers which
would have been shown in report 1 if I'd put that char into the drill-down.
The restriction shall be passed via the rri-field-assignment.
So, my problem in the end is: How do I need to put the rri-settings, in order to pass
characteristic-values that are not in the drilldown yet. In other words: I wanna jump based
on an aggregating characteristic (month) but wanna pass detailed values (sales-doc-number)
as a filter for the target-query.
I hope I could explain clearly what I'm after. If not, please let me simply know.
