Hide ready for input variable in variable screen

Hi all,

I need to hide a ready for input variable in the Variable Screen because the user must populate this variable, by means of a dropdown box, in the Web Application and leaving this variable with the others in the Variable Screen could generate confusion.

I need the variable to be ready for input because otherwise I can't use the dropdown box. So,any other workaround to implement the dropdown without the mandatory ready for input variable is acceptable.
