Don't have the option XML(MS-Excel) while Broadcasting using ABAP Web

Hi All,

We are using ABAP web to Broadcast Reports in our BI Environment. As a part of this we would like to Broadcast Queries to users with Output format as Excel.

In order to achieve the above I know that, we have to use the XML( MS-Excel) as Output Format. But using RSRT when go to ABAP Web I don't see this output option at all

Following are the 3 output options available:

MHTML, HTML & Online Report Link

I did some search in SCN and found the below comments from someone.

Goto RSRT and select your query.

Then use the button "Java Web"  here your can make a broadcast with the options:

-MHTML

-HTML

-XML

-PDF

-Online

If u use the button "Abap Web"

-MHTML

-HTML

-Online

Does any one have any SAP document which differentiates the scheduling output between ABAP Web and JAVA Web? The document would help us a lot to decide on installing the JAVA Web.
