Hi Guys !!!
I need to know how could I deactivate the Bex Broadcaster ( to send email ) to end users by role adjustments without lost or damaged the query access ?, because I test using the authorization objects S_RS_ADMWB, but I couldn´t change the S_RS_COMP1 or S_RS_COMP objects, because the access to queries will be damaged.
I try to find by SCN, Wiki and opened a message SAP, but both
https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BI/Authorization+in+BEx+Broadcasting
http://scn.sap.com/thread/3219020
The SAP message recommended ( consulting ).

Hello Geison,
The question is more like consulting so I will provide two perspectives that I will consider if I'm a BW admin.
1 - Try to use the authorization objects to restrict Broadcast Setting creation.
2 - Messup the broadcast template, in that case it will not be able to start the Bex Broadcaster.
None of the both options will remove the BEx Broadcaster option. Both will only not allow users to create broadcast settings.
Regarding the first one:
- Check the wikipage: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BI/Authorization+in+BEx+Broadcasting
You can consider to use the authorization object S_RS_ADMWB with activity Display only. With that, users will only be able to
see existent broadcast settings. You can arrange other authorization objects described on the wiki, if you want.
Regarding the second option, it is simple than the other one but it is not a usual scenario.
You can change the following parameters:
> Transaction RSCUSTV21
- The "Broadcasting" field, put the following value: 0ADHOC
> Transaction RSCUSTV27
- The "Broadcasting" field, put the following value: 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN
For the second option, whenever the user calls BEx Broadcaster, it will redirects to the standard SAP template that execute queries.
So, he will no longer be able to access the template that create the broadcast settings.
Personally, I recommend to review the first option.
I hope this solve your issue.
Best Regards,

Hello Geison,
I'm testing internally. Connections are not necessary.
During my research, I could see the the object RSADMWBOBJ = BR_SETTING basically allow the user to use the broadcast.
It does not restrict the creation of a broadcast setting over a query.
Basically, an object that the user has access (like a query that he is owner), he will be able to create a broadcast setting as well.
With, RSADMWBOBJ = BR_SETTING, he can be restricted to do not execute this broadcast.
To avoid the creation of broadcast setting will also lies on the object authorization access.
For instance. If you want to restrict to create BEx Broadcaster based on queries, you have to restrict the user access to these queries.
To restrict access for creation of Broadcast settings object, could be done via S_RS_COMP1 or S_RS_COMP.
But this is not feasible, because user will lost access to the very same queries to execute.
If you want to avoid your users to be able to access the BEx Broadcaster, the best option is the second one, where they will not be able to access the interface.
This should solve your issue.
The whole scenario is consulting. I believe this is a good topic to introduce on our SCN community and discuss with other consultants.
Thank you !!!
