Count Charcteristic value with specific condition

Hi Experts,

I want your help in understanding how can i get the addition of Total No. of Shopping Carts created per Requester.:

To more narrow down the solution i want,  for Requester "SAM" How many SC Approval Level = 1 & then just add them up,

I am unable to achieve these steps in BEx please guide me step by step.

My Aim is to achieve the RED column.
