Variables

Dear Experts,

I want to create a interval variable which should display data till the given period from starting period of the year.

Eg:

If user user wants to see data till 004.2015 (April 2015) from 001.2015 (Jan 2015). So user enters period as 004.2015 in selection so result should cumalate from 001.2015 upto 004.2015.

I observed some standard variables like single period, All period till current period etc but that doesnot fulfill my requirement. So I need variable which will show above scenario.
