Exception aggregation last value based on CALDAY is not working as expected where last value is zero

Hello All,

         In one of our bex query we have one formula key figure (Residual) for which the exception aggregation is set as “Last value” based on CALDAY.

This key figure is based on material, plant and CALDAY values. So when we see report based on material plant and CALDAY granularity the data for key figure appears correct.

But when we see summarized data (manufacturing unit) say for multiple plants, the values do not appear correct.

(Multiple plants have different values for residuals based on CALDAY and if latest value is zero, residual is being shown as zero where as it should show the last available value.)

Has anyone faced similar scenario earlier and if there is any option by which we can set the exception aggregation to meet the above requirement or the query layout should be changed? We are using SAP 7.2 for Bex query designer.
