Keyfigure type Date, data type DEC, convert to MMDDYYYY date format issue

Hi Folks,

I am working on a Production planning cube 0PP_C01 where one KF 0BASICSTARK is of type 'Date' and data type 'DEC'.

WEBI level:

We want to see a date in the report in MM/DD/YYYY format however it is displaying wrong values, seems those are coming from decimal values separated by '/'. example: 06/26/6042.

BEx Analyzer level

When I run the same report in BEx Analyzer I see some correct values '9/26/2014' but some in 'X'.. no decimal values.

RSRT:

All values in decimal with separated '/'. example 06/26/6042.

Cube level:

decimal values: 2,206,608

My users want to see all values in correct date format MM/DD/YYYY at BEx and WEBI report level. Could you please tell me solutions how do I resolve this issue? Do I need to add a date characteristics at cube level and reload data? or anything I can do at report level?
