Bex Replacement Path Variable for 0weekday

Hi Guru's

I need to use the replacement path text variable to provide the Day of Week in the column heading. I am using 0calday in a structure and restricting it with global variable Yesterday with Offset -6. If I use the Text variable created on 0calday charecterstic then it gives the correct date in the heading but if I create and use Text Variable on 0weekday charecterstic, it does not display the Day of the week rather gives &ZWEEKDAY& in the column heading. Please help me what I am missing here while creating the Text Variable on 0WEEKDAY.
