I have created an Implementation on BADI for restricting the value help for hierarchy node variable of OrgUnit (SPRO >> SAP NETWEAVER >> Business Warehouse >> Enhancements >> BAdi: Restricting Value help...).
In this implementation, there is a option of creating combination for filters, which is basically to indicate how the OrgUnit is used in BEx query (i.e. directly from underlying infoprovider or as navigational attirbute). In this filter I have set 3 combinations (with OR condition):
1) 2 for navigational attributes of different master data objects
2) 1 direct object
after implementation of this restriction on value help is working fine for 1st query where is it used as nav attribute if employee master & 2nd query where it is used directly from underlying infoprovider.
Surprisingly it is not working for the case where it is used as navigation attribute of another master data object.
