BEx Service pack which machine to apply?

Hi,

I want to apply Service pack 7 for BEx using 1091323 and 1049712 notes. i am the only guy who is using BEx tools and others are users. Users are accessing reports through portal.

To apply patches for BEx do i need to apply in my machine and J2EE server for users? or do i need to install patches in all the machines?
