How to get 2 query out in single BEx report

Hi,

I have a below scenario,can you please advise how to achieve this.

Query 1. It will provide the booked sales order details for specific period and material group.

Query 2. it will provide the backlog details for all the sales orders in query 1.

I know we can achieve this through RRI ( Q1->Q2). But my query is different.

We want to achieve this through sigle query. Means my selection for this query

-->  Period

--> Material Grp

When users enters selection in Period and Material Grp then it will show directly backlog value for the sales orders i.e. query 2 output.
